What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device while you browse the site. They allow the site to remember your preferences, to keep the prayer submission and payment process working correctly, and to understand how the site is used.
Types of cookies we use
1. Essential cookies
Required for basic operation of the site: keeping your form state, securing submissions, managing the payment process and returning you to the site after checkout. Without these the site cannot work properly, so they are always active.
2. Preference cookies
Remember your choices — such as your language (English or Hebrew) and your cookie decision — so we do not show you the consent window on every visit.
3. Marketing and advertising cookies
Include advertising platform pixels (for example the Meta Pixel) and partner referral tracking (the ref parameter in the URL). These cookies run only after you click "Accept all cookies". If you choose "Essential cookies only", no marketing pixel is loaded and no marketing tracking takes place.
4. Analytics cookies
Help us understand general usage and improve the site. These, too, run only after full consent.
Managing your consent
On your first visit a consent window lets you accept all cookies or continue with essential cookies only. Your choice is stored on your device and can be changed at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from sending a prayer or completing a payment.
Visitors from the European Union and the United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Under the GDPR, marketing and analytics cookies do not run without your explicit, active and informed opt-in consent. Our consent window meets this requirement: no marketing pixel loads before you click "Accept all cookies".
- Right to choose: you may select "Essential cookies only" and continue to use the entire site.
- Right to change your mind: you may withdraw or change consent at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer, as easily as it was given.
- Additional rights: access, correction and deletion of personal data — see our Privacy Policy.
Visitors from the United States (CCPA/CPRA and other state laws)
In accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and other US state privacy laws:
- We do not sell personal information to third parties for money.
- Use of advertising pixels may be considered "sharing" of information for targeted advertising. Such sharing occurs only after you accept all cookies.
- Right to opt out: you may stop sharing for advertising purposes at any time by clicking "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the footer and choosing "Essential cookies only" — this is equivalent to an opt-out request under CCPA/CPRA.
- We will not discriminate against you in service or price for exercising this right.
Third-party cookies
Payment is processed by our payment provider, which may set its own cookies under its own policy. We do not control those cookies.
Data retention
Preference and consent cookies are kept for up to 12 months unless you delete them earlier.
